Over 24k Buffalo Bills fans sign petition to ban Gov. Cuomo from attending game Satuday

Over 24k Buffalo Bills fans have signed a petition to ban NY Governor Cuomo from attending the game this Saturday.

The petition started by Jeffrey Dorenzo reads:

So Cuomo is going to attend our playoff game after telling us that we can only attend at less than 10% capacity? If he thinks he has more right to a seat in that stadium over people who have waited over 20 years for this opportunity, then people better be there to protest his entry. This is OUR team! This is OUR home. We don’t want you here

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced last week he will allow over 6k fans to attend the Buffalo Bills playoffs game even though several lockdown restrictions are in place state-wide including indoor dining.

in addition, Cuomo announced he’ll be attending the game himself.

Cuomo praised the Buffalo Bills, saying “they have captured a certain energy and charisma that is effective.”

“We really have to take this seriously, he added. “We really don’t want the fact that the Bills are in the playoffs to be a negative in terms of COVID.”
