Monday morning, Progressive “squad” member Ilhan Omar threw shade at Republicans defending Amy Coney Barrett’s religious views as a Catholic.
Omar wrote “Let’s be clear about this: if a Muslim woman was nominated to SCOTUS you would see Republicans lose their mind about her religious background…
“Sharia law” would be trending right now.
Miss me with the pearl-clutching and all this righteous talk about religious freedom.”
Ironically, Joe Biden said himself on Monday that there should be “no questions” about Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s faith.
One prominent Democrat talked about Barrett’s Catholic faith in a judicial hearing in 2017 when Senator Dianne Feinstein said “the dogma lives loudly within you, and that’s of concern,” questioning how Barrett’s faith influenced her judicial decision-marking.
