Obama Announces His “Favorite Music of 2019” Including Several Trump Critics

Former President Obama took to Instagram to announce his favorite music of 2019.

The list includes many outspoken critics of President Trump including Lizzo, Frank Ocean and Bruce Springsteen.

Shortly after Pelosi’s impeachment announcement, Lizzo  tweeted the word impeachment including an emoji of a peach.

Julian Castro then quoted the tweet and added “Truth hurts.”

“Truth hurts,” Castro, who has previously voiced support for impeaching Trump, said in a tweet linking to the pop star’s and using the name of one of her biggest hits.

Bruce Springsteen, who also made the list is a Trump critic who has called the President “a dangerous man.”

“He’s deeply damaged at his core,” the Springsteen told Esquire magazine. “Anyone in that position who doesn’t deeply feel those ties that bind is a dangerous man, and it’s very pitiful.”

After President Trump’s inauguration speech, Frank Ocean wrote “Barack we love you but it would’ve been equally presidential if you would’ve just walked on out while Donald got through that struggle speech trashing your career. The majority knows man, we know you did good. We see it. The majority sees Donald for who he is too. He ain’t slick. And it’s too bad the majority doesn’t count. In any event, a first family that I can relate to will be missed. Really though.”
