In a tweet that has gone viral with over 70k likes, NFL Legend Herschel Walker writes:
I was reading the greatest book ever written, the Bible, and I read “But if you don’t forgive others, your Father will not forgive your offenses.” – Matthew 6:15
Why are we penalizing people for what their ancestors did? Forgiveness doesn’t mean you get something in return.

Last week Herschel Walker wrote:
Shame. Shame. Shame. A republican @SenatorTimScott put a police reform bill on the floor and we had black democrat senators who refused to even debate about it. This shows this has nothing to do with police, it’s all politics. Don’t take it from me, read it yourself!

Earlier in the month, Walker volunteered to mediate between politicians, writing:
We’re civilized people. Why can’t true congressmen/women and senators get together with leaders from all ethnic groups, both left and right, to find solutions… unless certain people in Washington don’t want to see a change. I’m volunteering myself as one of the black leaders.

Walker also blasted Joe Biden for comparing the death of Dr. King and George Floyd.
Biden has argued Floyd’s death has had an ever larger global impact.
Someone inform @JoeBiden not to compare the death of Dr. King and George Floyd. He has been in office a very long time and not once has he tried to change anything for black lives. Look at his voting records! @FoxNews @CNN @realDonaldTrump @POTUS @FoxNews @MSNBC @seanhannity
