A new Reuters/IPSOS Poll shows Joe Biden with a massive double digit lead of 12 over President Trump.
The poll taken September 3-8th has Biden with 52% support compared to only 40% support for Trump.
According to Reuters “the survey showed the number of voters who had not yet backed a major-party candidate to be less than half of what it was in 2016, and that Biden currently had the advantage in securing the national popular vote.
Even if the remaining undecided voters threw their support behind Trump, the poll showed, he would still lose the popular vote to Biden.”
Meanwhile, another national poll by USC Dornsife also finds Biden with a double digit national lead.
After nearing even money in betting odds after the RNC, Biden has opened up a 52.5% to 46.8% lead in the RCP betting odds.
Analyst Nate Silver tweeted Monday “It’s after Labor Day! It’s no longer “too soon” to look at polls, even you’re the type of person who’s inclined to be conservative in when you start looking at polls. Joe Biden leads by 7.5 points in our national polling average:”
