New poll finds vast majority of Republicans want Trump to play a prominent role in GOP

A new poll by Quinnipiac finds 75% of Republicans wants former President Trump to playa a prominent role in the GOP party.

Per Quinnipiac “Overall, Americans say 60 – 34 percent that they do not want Trump to play a prominent role in the Republican Party. Democrats say 96 – 3 percent and independents say 61 – 32 percent they do not want to see Trump playing a prominent role in the GOP.”

A 55-43 majority say Trump should not be allowed to hold elected office again, falling on highly partisan lines.

87% of Republicans say he should be allowed to.
