“My baby didn’t deserve this” Cannon Hinnant’s parents want death penalty for his killer

A family continues to grieve for the senseless death of 5 year old boy Cannon Hinnant at the hands of a cold blooded murder.

Cannon’s mother Bonny Waddell is speaking out and wants prosecutors to seek the death penalty against his killer.

The mother of 5-year-old boy, Cannon Hinnant, who was shot and killed while riding his bicycle outside of his father’s North Carolina home says she will ask prosecutors to seek the death penalty against the man accused of murdering her son.

Darius Sessoms, 25, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his 5-year-old neighbor, Cannon Hinnant.

The heartbroken mother lamented “My baby didn’t deserve this. We lost a big piece of our family.”

Cannon’s father, Austin Hinnant agrees.

Accused killer Darius Sessoms was a neighbor of Austin for 8 years and the two were on good enough terms that they had dinner together the night before the shocking murder.

Sessoms has been denied bond and is charged with first degree murder. He was arrested with 24 hours of the crime.
