MSNBC Reporter Ali Arouzi Quoted Iran State Media’s claim of 30 U.S. American casualties during a broadcast Tuesday evening.
The decision to mention this dubious claim was criticized on social media.
Per Barbara Starr of CNN, a US official told CNN that there are no reports of US casualties at this time but an assessment is still underway.
