Mitt Romney says he voted and he didn’t vote for Trump

According to Manu Raju of CNN, Mitt Romney said he voted and he said he did not vote for President Trump.

Romney did not say if he voted for Joe Biden or someone else, telling Raju “that’s something I’m keeping private at this stage.”

After President Trump’s latest Town Hall event, Romney, the only GOP Senator to vote to convict Trump during his impeachment trial issued a blistering statement.

Romney wrote “The president’s unwillingness to denounce an absurd and dangerous conspiracy theory last night continues an alarming pattern: politicians and parties refuse to forcefully and convincingly repudiate groups like antifa, white supremacists and conspiracy peddlers.”

He added “Similarly troubling is their silence regarding anti-vaxxers, militias and anarchists,” he added. “Rather than expel the rabid fringes and the extremes, they have coddled or adopted them, eagerly trading their principles for the hope of electoral victories.”

Just a few days earlier, Romney issued a separate statement on the “current state of politics” where he vented about both the President as well as Democrats.
