White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany was seen packing her belongings Friday and has left the West Wing. She will continue in her role until Wednesday.
In a farewell message, McEnany wrote “so many Great Americans.. As I leave the White House, I have the privilege of reading notes from incredible servants to our country.”
“Men and Women whose names you do not know but who have served their country with pride until the end,” she added.
McEnany has been in the role of Press Secretary since last April.
Prior the position was held by Stephanie Grisham, who did not hold press conferences, Sarah Huckabee Sanders who was well-liked among Trump supporters, and Sean Spicer.
McEnany will certainly be remembered in her role as a fierce defender of the Trump administration and for her sharp clashes with members of the media.
In September, she played footage of Nancy Pelosi at the San Francisco hair salon on loop and called for her to apologize.
“We found Nancy Pelosi going into her hair salon. We will be playing the video on loop for all of you to see during the duration of this introduction.” she said
“Apparently the rules do not apply to Speaker Nancy Pelosi.” McEnany added.

During a December segment with CNN’s Brian Stelter, Jake Tapper claimed McEnany “tells lies all the time” adding “she can’t acknowledge reality.”
Tapper was telling Stelter who he refused to book as a guest.
“There were some people that are, just so mendacious, I just wouldn’t put them on air. Kayleigh McEnany, I never booked her,” Tapper said “Jason Miller from the Trump campaign, I would never book him. I mean, these are people who just tell lies the way that most people breathe. There was no value in that.”
“I don’t view Kellyanne Conway the same way,” he continued “She was more of a filibusterer and a subject changer, I thought.”
“There is a big difference between somebody like Kayleigh McEnany, who … tells lies all the time. She can’t acknowledge reality. So, I’m just not going to put somebody like that on air,” he added.
