Man who set fire to Minnesota Police Station during Floyd Riot sentenced to prison

Per John Croman of KARE 11 “A federal judge has sentenced 23-year-old Dylan Shakespeare Robinson of Brainerd to 4 years in prison for his role starting fire at Mpls Police 3rd Precinct last year. Plus $12 million restitution. Robinson pled guilty in December to one count of conspiracy to commit arson.”

Acting U.S. Attorney Anders Folk said Robinson “chose to depart from lawful protest and instead engaged in violence and destruction.”

“The arson at the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct put lives at risk and contributed to widespread lawlessness in Minneapolis,” he added.
