The man fatally shot in Portland amid clashed between Trump supporters and BLM activists has been identified as Aaron Danielson, but used “Jay” as a nickname.

President Trump tweeted “Rest in Peace Jay!” Sunday afternoon.

Joey Gibson, the founder of the group “Patriot Prayer” that Jay was part of said he was a “good friend.”

He wrote on the group’s Facebook page “Patriot Prayer is about fighting corruption, big government, and tyranny using God for strength and the power of love”

“Patriot prayer is about using the power of love and prayer to fight the corruption both in the government and citizen levels that seek to gain power through division and deception” he added.

After the shooting, a woman speaking with a megaphone at an alleged Antifa rally in downtown Portland declared “I am not sad that a f—ing fascist died tonight” upon news that a man wearing a “Patriot prayer” hat was shot to death.

In another video of what appears to be the same event, the woman says “He was a f—ing Nazi! Our community held its own and took out the trash!” The crowd cheers.

According to Andy Ngo “After finding out that it was a “blue lives matter” supporter who was killed, antifa in Portland are very happy. They’re dancing and chanting now. #PortlandRiots”
