Man allegedly drove through pro-police rally in Colorado, targeting the protesters

Congressman Ken Buck tweeted in late July:

My constituents were peacefully voicing their support for police when a SUV drove through the crowd, nearly hitting them.

All Americans should be able to exercise their #1A rights, free of violence. The person responsible must be brought to justice.

According tot the Weld County Sheriff’s office, Isaiah Cordova was arrested and then released on bond.

The Eaton Police Department announced:

On 07/25/2020 at approximately 3:38PM Eaton Police Department responded to a report in the 200 block of Collins St. of a male subject who was traveling in a maroon SUV attempting to drive through or over a crowd of pedestrians. The pedestrians were participating in a Blue Lives Matter rally on 07/25/2020.

The maroon SUV exited the roadway and was traveling through the grass park. The SUV and subject left the area at a high rate of speed and was later taken into custody at the 1100 block of 2nd St. Rd in the Town of Eaton. The Subject was taken into custody at 3:40PM

The subject was charged with:
(7 counts) attempted 1st degree assault
(7 counts) felony menacing
(1 count) reckless driving

In addition a second individual in the incident described was cited with a municipal citation for throwing missiles.
