According to an internal Trump team poll reported by Politico, Rep. Liz Cheney’s decision to vote with Democrats on impeaching Trump has put her in a precarious position in getting re-elected.
The poll conducted by former President Trump’s political operation found 73 percent of GOP voters and 62% of all voters in Wyoming had an unfavorable view of the three-term congresswoman.
The survey also found only 10% of GOP voters and 13% of general election voters said they would vote to reelect her.
Trump pollster John McLaughlin wrote to Jason Miller “Liz Cheney’s decision to vote to impeach President Trump makes her extremely vulnerable.”
He added “it is evident her ratings are in bad shape among general election voters and have collapsed among Republicans and Trump voters.”
