The fourth day of Amy Coney Barrett’s hearings has begun and Minnesota Democrat Senator Amy Klobuchar called the nomination process a “sham,” calling for a delay until after the election.
Senator Graham moves ahead, and the vote passes with Durbin voting for the no-s by proxy.
Senator Blumenthal moves to indefinitely postpone Judge Barrett's nomination.

Pointing to how the GOP blocked Merrick Garland’s nomination, Klobuchar says “I think that time has come to be honest about what’s going on here, you’re just trying to ram through this justice against your own words.”
Meanwhile, Democrat Senator Dick Durbin asks what was the point of the hearing, suggesting Coney Barrett did not answer many questions and also calling for a delay.
“I would be afraid to ask her about the presence of gravity on Earth. She could decline to answer because it could come up in a case,” he says.
Neither Klobuchar nor Durbin convinced Graham or any Republican Senators to change their mind on moving forward. The Senate Judiciary Committee has scheduled a vote on the confirmation of Judge Barrett to the Supreme Court for October 22 at 1pm.
