Kasich Mocked for Literally Standing at a “Crossroads” for his DNC Address

During his DNC address, former Republican Governor John Kasich stood at a literal “crossroads” in Westerville, Ohio during his apperance.

“These are not normal times,” said Kasich “We are being taken down the wrong road by a President who has pitted one against another.”

Kasich spoke glowingly of Joe Biden, declaring “I know Joe is a good man, a man of faith, a unifier…a man who can help us to see the humanity in each other.”

Some Twitter users mocked John Kasich for the literal interpretation of standing at the “Crossroad.”

Alex Peter wrote “OMG JOHN KASICH LITERALLY STANDING AT A CROSSROAD SAYING AMERICA IS AT A CROSSROADS, SATIRE IS DEAD”

More tweets about the stunt:

“Someone thought it was necessary to literally put John Kasich at a crossroad. Tomorrow, will they have former US President Bill Clinton in tub of hot water?”

“I am cackling at John Kasich at an actual crossroad. He did not stand at a crossroad when taking away abortion rights but here we are.”
