Kaepernick blasts NFL’s new social justice focus, calls it “propaganda,” and accuses league of “blackballing” friend

Colin Kaepernick, who started the trend of kneeling during the national anthem that has now become widespread in multiple professional sports, is still not satisfied with the league’s new social justice focus.

This is apparently because his friend Eric Reid still does not have a team.

Kaepernick wrote “While the NFL runs propaganda about how they care about Black Life, they are still actively blackballing Eric Reid (@E_Reid35) for fighting for the Black community.”

He added “Eric set 2 franchise records last year, and is one of the best defensive players in the league.”

Reid himself retweeted a story from Chuck Modi who wrote “Friendly Reminder on NFL Sunday: Not only Colin Kaepernick, NFL is Blackballing Eric Reid too. ”

Reid told Deadspin “My agents have been in communications with teams daily, but there have been no developments.”
