Moments ago, President Trump went after former Secretary of State John Kerry today, over what he sees as possible illegal negotiations with Iran.
Trump did not mince words over Kerry’s negotiations with Iran, saying “Quite frankly, he should be prosecuted over that.”
Could Kerry be prosecuted under the Logan Act for collusion? Time will tell.
Breitbart reported that Trump said Thursday former Secretary of State John Kerry should be prosecuted for violating the Logan Act, after communicating with Iranian officials during the Trump administration.
“That’s a violation of the Logan Act, and frankly he should be prosecuted on that, but my people don’t want to do anything on that,” Trump said to reporters at the White House.

Kerry has not denied his dealings with Iran.

Why is John Kerry so tied to Iran? Nuclear deal?Family business?
His daughter married an Iranian national and the best man's son at the wedding was Mohammad Javad Zarif who is Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. It seems like there is more to the Logan Act here. Just my opinion.— Kambree Kawahine Koa (@KamVTV) May 9, 2019
