Jeremiah Ellison Vows to “Dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department”

Thursday, Jeremiah Ellison, son of state Attorney General Keith Ellison and Minneapolis city councilman tweeted:

We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department.

And when we’re done, we’re not simply gonna glue it back together.

We are going to dramatically rethink how we approach public safety and emergency response.

It’s really past due.

Ellison was responding to Benjamin Dixon who had tweeted “Is it me, or. is there literally NO ONE in elected position brave enough to take on the police in their city/state.”

Ellison had caused controversy not long ago by declaring his support for ANTIFA.

Ellison tweeted May 31st:

I hereby declare, officially, my support for ANTIFA

Unless someone can prove to me ANTIFA is behind the burning of black and immigrant owned businesses in my ward, I’ll keep focusing on stopping the white power terrorist THE ARE ACTUALLY ATTACKING US!

On the same day, President Trump declared the United States of America will be designating ANTIFA as a Terrorist Organization.
