In a move that clearly is meant to counter President Trump’s tweeting of the American flag after the killing of General Soleimani, Iranian official Saaed Jalili tweeted an image of an Iranian flag after reports of Ballistic missiles being launched targeting a U.S. base in Iraq.
The impact of the 2 acts though can not be compared.
President Trump’s killing of General Soleimani resulted in a massive funeral event in Tehran where hundreds of thousands of Iranians mourned.
At this time, there are no reports of U.S. casualties following the Iranian ballistic missile strike, per CNN.
