Iran Executes Famous Wrestler Despite Efforts from Trump, Dana White to Stop Them

Iran has executed the famous wrestler Navid Afkari despite efforts from President Trump and Dana White to save him.

According to the Iranian government, Afkari murdered a security guard at a protest in 2018.

The standout wrestler’s attorney had said he was only peacefully protesting and confessed because he was being tortured.

Dana White issued the following Instagram message in an effort to get the Iranian government to spare Afkari’s life.
