Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks is leading Democrat Rita Hart by a mere 47 votes in a nail biter house race that has yet to be called in Iowa.
Hart has requested a full recount of all 24 counties in the 2nd Congressional District.
Per KWWL “The Hart Campaign said they would hand-deliver requests for recounts at auditors’ offices in all 24 counties by the end of day Friday, the deadline to make such requests.”
After the Lucas County recount, Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks still leads Democrat Rita Hart by 47 votes according to the Iowa Secretary of State's website. Hart has requested a full recount of all 24 counties in the 2nd Congressional District. https://t.co/Q19yBAIb04

Marianette Miller-Meeks (R) leads by 47 votes against Rita Hart (D) in IA-02 with county recounts underway. CA-25 could very well be closer than that.
