After the bombshell news of ISIS leader al-Baghdadi’s death, Rep. Ilhan Omar reacted…by attacking president Trump’s new asylum policy.
Well after President Trump’s press conference announcing the big news, Omar tweeted twice.
In the first tweet, Omar criticizes Trump’s testing of a new “rapid asylum review, deportation process.”
In the second tweet, Omar tweets about 1% owning 40% of the country’s wealth.
Tweets about ISIS leader al-Baghdadi’s death being great for America?
Tweets congratulating our proud troops carrying out the mission?
None.
Update: Several hours after Omar’s other tweets that came after al Baghdadi’s death, she issued the following statement on al Baghdadi.
Abu Bakr al Baghdadi was an evil man and a terrorist, who terrorized the world with violence and a message of hate.
The world is a safer place without him.
We have deep gratitude for the brave men and women who carried out this dangerous operation.
