According to a new report from the DailyCaller, Hunter Biden, the embattled son of Joe Biden referred to his father, stepmother and Chinese business partners as “office mates” in a September 2017 email.
“[P]lease have keys made available for new office mates,” Hunter Biden wrote in the email before listing Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Jim Biden and Gongwen Dong, who he identified as the “emissary” for the chairman of CEFC Chinese Energy Co.
“I would like the office sign to reflect the following,” Hunter continues, requesting “The Biden Foundation” and “Hudson West (CEFC US).”
“The lease will remain under my company’s name Rosemont Seneca,” Hunter adds “my partner,” as well as their contact information.
Per Fox News, in another email the manager responds, saying that “[w]e are very excited and honored to welcome your new colleagues.” The manager then asks to confirm that Hunter Biden wants four more keys and a “[c]hange of names on the doors and in the north entrance.”
Per the report “Hunter Biden’s business associations with Chairman Ye Jianming, Gongwen Dong, and other Chinese nationals, according to the Senate Homeland Security and Finance committees, “resulted in millions of dollars in questionable transactions.”
In October, Andrew Bates, spokesperson for Joe Biden said he “has never even considered being involved in business with his family, nor in any overseas business whatsoever. He has never held stock in any such business arrangements nor has any family member or any other person ever held stock for him.”
