Howard Sterns claims a Trump-run “News Network” would Fail “Inside of a Year”

Discussing speculation that President Trump may have interest in starting his own media company and news channel, shock Jock Howard Stern didn’t like Trump’s prospects.

Stern said if Trump “thinks running the country is hard, wait ‘til he has to run a news network.”

He then said “that’ll fail inside of a year like all the other businesses. This is just insanity what’s going on.”

Last Thursday, President Trump blasted Fox News, tweeting “@FoxNews daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them there.”

“They forgot the Golden Goose,” he added “The biggest difference between the 2016 Election, and 2020, was @FoxNews!”

Axios reported on the same day “Some Trump advisers think Fox News made a mistake with an early call (seconded by AP) of President-elect Biden’s win in Arizona. That enraged Trump, and gave him something tangible to use in his attacks on the network. “He plans to wreck Fox. No doubt about it,” said a source with detailed knowledge of Trump’s intentions.”

The report says rather than a traditional cable channel “Trump is considering a digital media channel that would stream online, which would be cheaper and quicker to start.”
