Howard Dean Tweets “F You Donald Trump” Over Atlantic Story

In response to a story by “The Atlantic” that claims President Trump disparaged dead service members, former Presidential candidate Howard Dean had a strong reaction.

Dean wrote “y brother was captured in Laos in September of 1974 and executed by the North Vietnamese on December 14, 1974.”

He then added “F**k you, Donald Trump.”

The Atlantic story claimed from anonymous sources that Trump said “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” in 2018.

Dan Scavino and Sarah Sanders, who both said they were with Trump during that trip are refuting the claim.

Dan wrote “I was with POTUS in France, with Sarah, and have been at his side throughout it all. Complete lies by “anonymous sources” that were “dropped” just as he begins to campaign (and surge). A disgraceful attempt to smear POTUS, 60 days before the Presidential Election! Disgusting!!”

Sarah wrote “The Atlantic story on @realDonaldTrump is total BS. I was actually there and one of the people part of the discussion – this never happened. I have sat in the room when our President called family members after their sons were killed in action and it was heart-wrenching…”

She added in a follow up tweet “These were some of the moments I witnessed the President show his heart and demonstrate how much he respects the selfless and courageous men and women of our military. I am disgusted by this false attack.”
