In a bombshell announcement, Hollywood actor and activist Isaiah Washington recently revealed that he would be joining an upcoming “Walk Away” panel, and will be speaking at the event as a member of the movement.
Washington, an outspoken champion for African-American equality, has recently praised President Trump and conservatives for their efforts, while noting that Democrats have done little for black Americans.
“It’s gonna be HARD, that’s all I know,” said Washington, but vowed to continue “standing on truth, honor and transparency.”
#MySleeptweet Please don’t trip. I gonna tweet like everything else I do. It’s gonna be HARD. That’s all I know. When I’m ‘activated’ and standing on truth, honor and transparency. I GO HARD. Nobody likes a “soft” anything if we are being honest. #WalkAway 🇺🇸 cc: @usminority pic.twitter.com/B0cM3ELBBQ

#MySleeptweet One way to make change is starting from within. I’ve never seen a beating heart that didn’t look like any other beating heart during open heart surgery. We know how to stop a beating heart & restart a beating heart, but NO ONE knows what makes it beat. #WalkAway 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/4u9YTEnJHM

The A-List Hollywood actor will join Joy Villa, Dr. Angela King, the “Walk Away” founder, Brandon Straka, and others, and adds his name to a growing number of African Americans who have become vocally disillusioned with the Democratic Party.
