Hank Williams Jr. Removed from ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” Intro

Hank Williams Jr. has been removed from ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” Intro.

ESPN executives are claiming it’s not political.

According to sports business daily “execs decided that the song “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night” will not resonate for games that will be contested in mainly empty stadiums.”

Instead, ESPN will use Little Richard’s song “Rip It Up.”

This is the 2nd time since 2011 Hank Williams Jr. has been dropped.

ESPN dropped Williams Jr. in 2011 after Williams compared former President Obama to Hitler and called Joe Biden “the enemy” in a interview.

Here is a Williams Jr on Fox and Friends October 2011:

Here is Hank performing his classic “Are you ready for some Football?” hit.
