Lindsey Graham does not believe the Quinnipiac University poll that has him tied with Democrat challenger Jaime Harrison in the South Carolina Senate race.
According to the new Quinnipiac poll, Graham and Harrison are deadlocked at 48% support each.
The result is the same as the same poll taken towards the end of July through early August.
A previous Gravis poll taken in mid-July showed Graham with a 7 point lead.
Explaining why he believes the new poll showing a tied race is flawed, Graham said “It undercounts Republicans by 10-12 points.”
He added “but having said that, we’re taking it seriously.”
Energized by the poll, Harrison wrote on Twitter:
You don’t have to believe in miracles to believe we can win this race. Once again, we are ALL TIED UP IN SOUTH CAROLINA.
Let’s do this, y’all!!! 💪🏻💪🏽💪🏾
The same Quinnipiac poll has Trump leading Biden in South Carolina by 6 points.
