GoFundMe for Pineapple Hill Saloon owner in viral video exceeds $100k

The GoFundMe for Pineapple Hill Saloon owner Angela Marsden has exceeded the goal of $100k in just 2 days.

In her GoFundMe, Marsden writes “We are a small business in Sherman Oaks California and we need your help! The governor and mayor are trying to ruin everything we’ve worked so hard for!”

In her video that went viral with over 8 million views, Mardsen fumes as she’s been shut down while a movie crew across form her is allowed to shoot.

Marsden says. “So this is my place, the Pineapple Hill Grill & Saloon. If you go to my page you can see all the work I did for outdoor dining, for tables being seven feet apart.”

“I come in today because I’m organizing a protest and I came in to get stuff for that,” she continued “and I walk into my parking lot and obviously Mayor Garcetti has approved this…Has approved this being set up for … this being set up for … for a movie company.

Marsden elaborated in a new video shot by Jorge Ventura.

She said one of things that really got to her was that she was giving her employee’s their last paychecks and groceries while a movie company was allowed for outdoor dining, unfair.
