George Takei asks Twitter CEO to ban Rep. Greene permanently

Thursday “Star Trek” actor George Takei appealed to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to ban Republican lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene permanently.

Takei tweeted:

[email protected] It’s George.

I reported a new tweet by @RepMTG that spreads more dangerous Covid-19 misinformation. Twitter suspended her for 12 hours last time. It’s time to make it permanent.

Tuesday, Greene blasted Twitter for temporarily suspending her, comparing them to communist China.

Greene wrote:

American social media company Twitter banned me for 12 hrs, censoring me, & violating my freedom of speech.

You know who else silences, censors, and bans people they don’t like and want heard.

Communist China 🇨🇳

Communism is not good @Twitter

Save America Stop Communism!

According to CNN Twitter ‘had labeled two tweets from Greene as “misleading” in recent days. If she continues to share misinformation about Covid-19 through her Twitter account, Greene could be suspended from the platform permanently.’
