GA Secretary of State says Trump cost himself election by discouraging mail in votes

In new interview with WSBTV’s Justin Gray, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican said 24,000 Republicans who voted absentee in the primary did not vote in General and blamed Trump for sowing distrust in absentee.

Raffensperger said “he would have won by 10 thousand votes he actually suppressed, depressed his own voting base”

Per The Hill “Raffensperger has become a target of President Trump and his allies since the state was projected for President-elect Joe Biden. Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R) and David Perdue (R), both of whom face a January runoff for their seats, called for his resignation following the election.

Earlier this week Raffensperger accused Senator Lindsey Graham of trying to pressure him to find reasons to exclude some mail-in ballots during the recount.

Graham denied the charge.
