Franklin Graham calls Netflix’s decision to air “Cuties” abhorrent, thanks petition signers

Christian leader Franklin Graham joined the chorus of those against the decision from streaming movie giant Netflix’s decision to air the movie “Cuties.”

Graham wrote  on Twitter “@Netflix ‘s decision to air “Cuties” is abhorrent. I applaud those who made #CancelNetflix trend & the 623,000+ who signed @Change ‘s petition to cancel subscriptions. That could mean millions of dollars lost to Netflix—I’m just not sure they’re listening.”

The petition, calling for users to cancel their Netflix subscription now has over 637k signers.

The petiiton was started by Kelsi Swift who wrote:

As I have been researching content that exploits children and creates a disturbing vibe, I have found many shows and movies on Netflix to have similar inappropriate behaviors as Cuties, the movie this petition was originally based off. As Netflix has chosen to ignore the petition and the wishes of its customers, I feel we need to ban together and cancel our subscriptions! Please sign and share. Please make the choice to prove to Netflix our children are more valuable than our entertainment, and our money is better spent else where!

The current trailer for the film on YouTube has a terrible ratio of thumbs up compared to thumbs down.

As of this moment the movie has 1.8 million thumbs down compared to only 44k thumbs up.
