FLASHBACK VIDEO: Obama Warned Illegals “Don’t Send Your Children”

During an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Obama addressed the issue of families with children using our laws against us to flood across our border.

ABC News reported that Obama was actually quite aggressive when it came to deportations. You might not realize it, since liberals didn’t seem to care about migrants back then.

President Barack Obama has often been referred to by immigration groups as the “Deporter in Chief.”

Between 2009 and 2015 his administration has removed more than 2.5 million people through immigration orders, which doesn’t include the number of people who “self-deported” or were turned away and/or returned to their home country at the border by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Obama’s message to the people who were using their kids to try and gain access to the Unite States?

“Absolutely, don’t send your children.”

Former DHS Secretary Neilsen said the same thing but clearly with rise of the pro-Amnesty left, the environment has changed.

Real Clear Politics reported that DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen makes the case for reforming immigration and asylum laws in her opening statement before the House Homeland Security Committee for a hearing on border security.

“Smugglers and traffickers have caught on that the outdated laws, lack of resources, and bad court decisions effectively give them a free ticket into America,” Nielsen said. “As a result, the flow of families and children has become a flood. Over the past five years, we have seen a 620% increase in families, or those posing as families, apprehended at the border.”

She continued: “Of great concern to me is that the children are being used as pawns to get into our country. We have encountered recycling rings, where innocent young people are used multiple times to help aliens gain illegal entry. As a nation, we simply cannot stand for this.”
