Moments ago, Joe Biden formally selected Kamala Harris as his running mate.
The move has prompted congratulations from Democrat party elders including the Clintons, Nancy Pelosi as well as former VP contenders Gretchen Whitmer and Stacy Abrams.
While Harris is expected to vehemently support Biden, April of 2019, when Biden was still a competitor of hers she was singing a different tune.
Harris said she believed women who accused Joe Biden of unwanted touching.
“I believe them and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” Harris said during a presidential campaign event in Nevada.
Harris then commented on whether Biden should drop out of the race and said “He’s going to have to make that decision for himself. I wouldn’t tell him what to do.”
