Fashion designer says Chrissy Teigan tried to destroy his career, releases exchange where she warns “Your career is over, just watch”

Fashion designer Michael Costello, has released alleged texts between him and embattled Chrissy Teigan from 2014 which he says shows Teigan trying to destroy his career and life.

Teigan decided he was racist after an image Costello says was photoshopped from a disgruntled former employee had him using the “n word.”

Costello said in his Instagram post “When I reached out to Chrissy Teigen to communicate that I was the victim of a vindictive cyber slander, and that everything she thought I was is not who I am, she told me that my career was over and that all my doors will be shut from there on.”

Costello had written on Tumblr,”The hurtful screenshot circulating is fake and does not represent my views on society, nor do I condone the use of such a terrible term.”

In the screen-shotted exchange, that Teigan is now saying is fake, Costello asks twice if he can call Chrissy.

Chrissy says “No! I do not have anything to say to you. You will get what’s coming to you.”

She later says “racist people like you deserve to suffer and die! Your career is over, just watch.”

UPDATE: Teigan has fired back and claims the messages released by Costello are fake.

On Friday, Costello’s rep responded to Teigen’s team’s claims that the alleged direct messages the two exchanged had “inconsistencies” pointing to their inauthenticity such as Teigen not having a verified blue check next to her handle’s name and icon images not matching up to what her profile looked like at the time.

In a statement to Fox News on Friday, the “Project Runway” alum’s rep stated: “The fact that Chrissy Teigen’s team is desperately trying to prove the DM’s are fake and attempts to discredit Michael Costello, a victim of trauma and bullying by Chrissy Teigen both online and offline, confirms that she remains the same bully, despite her public apology.”
