Dixon Police “We have identified the subjects reference the vandalism to the Reagan Statue”

WIFR reported Wednesday: The Dixon Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two women after the Ronald Reagan statue at the Riverfront was vandalized on Tuesday, July 14.

The Dixon Police Department released images of the suspects on their Twitter account. The police department says the vandalism took place at night.

Thanks to tips from the public, Dixon police have identified two women suspected of vandalizing the base of the Reagan statue in the Dixon Riverfront Plaza, the department said Monday evening in a news release. “Black • Lives • Matter” was written in blue Tuesday on the north side of the base, on the cement ring that encircles the statue. The suspects were not named in the release.
