Despite Media Spotlight, AOC and Omar Suffer from Low Favorability

While newly-elected freshmen Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have quickly become the face of a new, far-left sect of the Democratic Party, the results of a new internal poll indicates that their popularity may be short lived.

The poll, which was conducted among swing-state Democrats in May, indicated that while 53% recognized Ilhan Omar, only 9% had a favorable view of her performance in Congress.

74% of Democrats polled recognized Ocasio-Cortez, with only 22% of them holding positive opinions.

Conservatives on social media were not surprised by the results, and urged the mainstream media to give more airtime to both Ocasio-Cortez and Omar.
