DeSantis teases $5k bonus for unvaccinated out of state police to relocate to Florida

Appearing with Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis teased a $5k bonus he’s looking to push through for out of state police to relocate to Florida, where there is no vaccine mandate.

“We’re actually actively working to recruit out-of-state law enforcement,” DeSantis said. “because we do have needs in our police and our sheriff’s departments. So, in the next legislative session, I’m going to hopefully sign legislation that gives a $5,000 bonus to any out-of-state law enforcement that relocates in Florida.”

“So, NYPD, Minneapolis, Seattle, if you’re not being treated well, we will treat you better here. You can fill important needs for us, and we will compensate you as a result,” the Florida governor added.

Last week in Seattle, Firemen and Law enforcement who were discharged for noncompliance with the vaccine mandate, turned in their boots at the city hall.

Katie Davidcourt shared a video of Seattle firefighters and Seattle police officers that were fired for not complying with the vaccine mandate are out feeding the homeless.
