Dems fume after Gaetz floats Congress debating whether to accept states’ electors where he claims “irregularities exist”

In a Tuesday tweet, Rep. Matt Gaetz wrote “I talked today to Republicans in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.”

He then said “There’s an interest in examining voting irregularities and forcing a debate in Congress about whether or not to accept states’ electors where those irregularities exist.”

“Nothing is off the table,” he added.

The tweet from Gaetz upset critics.

One Twitter user replied “@RepMattGaetz is totally willing to subvert the will of the people and throw out election results. That should scare ALL AMERICANS.”

Another replied “Biden will be President in 50 days. Matt is just making noise.”

Another replied “Yawn. The drunk next door is freaking out again”
