Tuesday, Rep. Madison Cawthorn introduced a new act to protect the border wall by declaring it a national monument.
Cawthorn tweeted “I am proud to announce that I dropped the “Donument” Act on the House floor last week. This bill would protect the southern border wall built by President Trump by creating a “Southern Border Wall National Monument.” This is the first step towards finishing the wall.”

Trump critics did not like the idea. Here are some of their responses.
How does building a monument to an overly expensive project going to get it going again?
Look, let's celebrate a waste of money by spending a bunch of money?

New word: Dumbillslation. Noun. Legislation that has zero chance of making it out of committee using at least one word that is seemingly made up.
Example of usage: Madison is making his constituents proud with his latest dumbillslation.
