Dems accuse Gov. Noem of “cruelty” after she issues a message to illegal immigrants

Democrats accused South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem or “cruelty” after she issued a message to illegal immigrants.

“South Dakota won’t be taking any illegal immigrants that the Biden Administration wants to relocate,” Noem tweeted earlier this week.

“My message to illegal immigrants… call me when you’re an American,” she added.

Many Democrats felt Noem was being harsh.

Qasim Rashid replied “The irony of this cruel message from the South Dakota Governor is that South Dakota only exists b/c thousands of white undocumented immigrants from Europe used the Homestead Act from 1860-1920 to steal land from Native Americans w/o compensation or reparations.”

Jeff Tiedrich replied “imagine being this proud of being this xenophobic.”

“Hateful and unbecoming, Kristi.”

“Was under the impression you were a Christian. My bad.”

“Call me when you’re a human being.”

“Remember when one of the arguments for more women in politics was that they’d be more humane? How’s that working out?”
