Democratic National Convention set to kick off featuring Bernie, Kasich and Michelle Obama

The Democratic National Convention is set to kick off Monday and will span 4 days.

Monday’s convention lineup will feature big names in the Democratic party including Bernie Sanders, Governor Michelle Whitmer, Senator Amy Klobuchar, Rep. Jim Clyburn, and former First Lady Michelle Obama as the headliner.

According to a recent report from “The Hill,” an ally to Michelle Obama expects her to shine a harsh light on President Trump.

The ally to Michelle Obama said “I think she’ll come hard at Trump, in the most artful way. I think it will be one of the most defining and memorable speeches of this entire cycle. She has the most powerful voice to get out the vote.”

Former Ohio Governor John Kasich, an anti-Trump Republican will also make a appearance.

The virtual convention is slated to begin at 7pm EST and primetime coverage will take place 10-11pm EST.
