Embattled NY Governor Andrew Cuomo’s approval rating has taken a dive in the latest Quinnipiac University poll.
The poll has Cuomo’s approval rate at only 39% compared to 49% who disapprove.
Earlier this month his approval rating was 45% with 46% disapproving.
Cuomo is facing a nursing home data cover-up scandal and sexual harassment allegations from at least 7 women, some of them former aides.
“Though some of his fellow Democrats are clearly ready to usher him out the door of the Executive Mansion and point him toward the Thruway, the vast majority of the party sees a next step as necessary. They want a full investigation before deciding whether Cuomo should resign,” said Quinnipiac Polling Analyst Tim Malloy.
