Cuomo will allow over 6k fans to attend Bills game and attend, while NY indoor dining remains closed

Governor Andrew Cuomo will allow over 6k fans to attend the Buffalo Bills playoffs game even though several lockdown restrictions are in place state-wide including indoor dining.

in addition, Cuomo announced he’ll be attending the game himself.

According to the NY Post “it is the first step in a first-in-the-nation pilot program launched by New York aimed at “re-opening businesses safely” during COVID-19, according to Cuomo, who said he will be attending the game.”

Fans will have to show proof they tested negative for COVID-19 by a PCR test administered 72 hours before the game.

Cuomo said fo the Buffalo Bills “they have captured a certain energy and charisma that is effective.”

“We really have to take this seriously, he added. “We really don’t want the fact that the Bills are in the playoffs to be a negative in terms of COVID.”
