Moments ago President Trump announced that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed as the result of a U.S. Special Ops forces raid on his hideout in northwest Syria.
Most Trump supporters expressed pride in the accomplishment, however even in a great moment for this Country, many who oppose Trump took the opportunity to attack the President.
David Cay Johnston wrote the good news was marred by Trump’s “reveling in gory details, revealing his sick mind” and called Trump “undignified.”
The good news that US forces killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was marred by @realDonaldTrump's reveling in gory details, revealing his sick mind.

Reporter Andrew Feinberg reacted to the #1 terrorist being killed by tweeting “Yawn. He wants a “we got bin Laden” moment.”
Yawn. He wants a “we got bin Laden” moment.
Any news organization that gives this the prominence he wants this announcement to have without checking everything he says first has failed at its job.
It should not be carried live, he’s forfeited that privilege with all the lying.

Another Anti-Trump Twitter user wrote “Watching Trump’s speech about the killing of Isis leader – what an embarrassment to listen to this idiot talking without reading the teleprompter!!! ”
Dennis Noel wrote “The killing of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is nothing more than an attempt by Trump to divert attention away from his troubles in Washington.”
