Cory Booker reacts to Barrett confirmation, says Senate Republicans “violated processes, violated rules, violated their word”

Reacting to the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett, NJ Democrat Senator Cory Booker accused Senate Republicans of violating processes, rules and their word.

“Senate Republicans have violated processes, violated rules, violated their word and, most importantly, violated the will of the American people.” Booker tweeted.

“This will go down as one of the darker moments in the history of the United States Senate,” he added.

Booker added in a separate tweet “Our faith may be shaken, but it will never be lost. Now is not a time to give up. We can never give up on the cause of our country. Our voices will be heard loud and clear in November.”
