Colin Kaepernick claims he’s been “denied work for 1,363 days” in new video, but says he’s “still ready”

Monday, former NFL quarterback turned social justice activist Colin Kaepernick tweeted a video claiming he’s been “denied work for 1,363 days” but still ready.

In the video Kaepernick is seen running drills with Eric Reid, a former San Francisco 49er who kneeled alongside Colin to the national anthem.

Both Levar Burton and George Takei tweeted “I want to live in a country where Colin Kaepernick is seen as a hero and Kyle Rittenhouse is seen as a terrorist.”

Kaerpernick recently called for the release of Mumia Abu-Jamal, a former Black Panther convicted of killing a Philadelphia police officer but who claims he’s innocent.
