During a recent awards ceremony, CNN’s president Jeff Zucker elicited uncomfortable groans from the crowd, following remarks made to female anchor Alisyn Camerota.
“I was gonna say that I love waking up with you every morning, but I want to say that I love waking up to you every morning,” said Zucker, prompting reactions from those in attendance.
When asked, Camerota said she did not take issue with Zucker’s comment, stating, “I hear it a couple of times a week from people in the grocery store.”

Social media, however, felt differently, and pointed out that had a conservative made such remarks, the reaction coming from the press would almost certainly have been much different.
Different standards for Leftist media. And by different I mean lower.

I can’t stand either of them but honestly, can we stop with the gasps already. If the left’s in charge, I can’t imagine what dialogue will sound like in five years.

What’s more surprising is Jeff Zucker is RECEIVING an award for anything. I believe CNN ratings are tanking. So we reward failing? ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

I just wonder if @POTUS had made the joke about waking up with it waking up to a morning show host-would alisyn still think it was a non issue? Just an old silly joke? Probably not instead probably she would use @NewDay to launch an attack be exgerrating & twisting&turning it

Needless to say, had a conservative said that…
