Analyzing today’s impeachment hearing, Fox News’ Chris Wallace argued Ambassador Sonadland “made a very powerful argument” and that in many ways “he took out the bus and ran over President Trump, Vice President Pence, Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, Rudy Giuliani, Mick Mulvaney.”
“I think Sondland made a very powerful argument, it wasn’t just the 3 amigos, it was Secretary of State Pompeo, it was Vice President Pence, of course he denies that, Mick Mulvaney, John Bolton, that they were all on the same page and they all understood that the President wanted this announcement of these investigations before he was going to agree at the very least to a meeting, and then there’s also the question of the military aid.”
I think what Gordon Sondland was trying to do here is protect himself more than he is to protect anybody else…To a certain degree, he took out the bus and ran over President Trump, Vice President Pence, Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, Rudy Giuliani, Mick Mulvaney. He implicates all of them.
And one of the things, it pains [Sondland] to say, this wasn’t a rogue operation..I wasn’t a freelancer. Everybody knew. Everybody was in the loop on this.
Last week, Chris Wallace gushed over Anti-Trump witness Marie Yovanovitch, claiming if you weren’t moved by Yovanovitch’s testimony “you don’t have a pulse.”
Yovanovitch claimed Rudy Giuliani led a smear campaign against her, leading to her firing.
“This is a woman who had served in seven posts for presidents of both parties over more than 30 years, hardship posts, places like Somalia…She tells the story of being a leading fighter against corruption in Ukraine and being called out of a meeting, that was an event at the U.S. Embassy that was to honor an anti-corruption fighter who was later killed because acid was thrown in that woman’s face, and she’s being told by the secretary general at the State Department, you’re going to have to leave, and you’re going to have to leave on the next plane. We’re worried about your security.”
Chris Wallace also upset many conservatives when he concluded that Ambassador Taylor’s testimony was “very damaging to the President.”
House Speaker Pelosi shared the video of Wallace and added:
Donald Trump’s indefensible misconduct and gross abuse of power have been, once again, corroborated.
The evidence is piling up. According to Chris Wallace from Fox News, it was “very damaging to the President.”
No one is above the law.
